berlioz is a jazz-house producer from the rural outskirts of Cornwall, England. Taking his stage alias from the French 19th century composer, the DJ born Ted Jasper describes his unique style as “if Matisse made house music” and burst onto the scene in 2022 with singles like “nyc in 1940,” “miro” and “la danse.” In 2023, berlioz followed that string of singles with the five-track EP jazz is for ordinary people, featuring tracks like “hot house,” “deep in it,” “r&r” and “wash my sins away.” "the thought of playing my first album, night after night in these concert halls is lifting me so high! please bring your friends, family & neighbours!
